On 25th June 2022, Twin Chemicals Industrial organized the Corporate Social Responsibility Activity for its staff to learn about giving back to the surrounding community, Sufficiency Economy by King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), and Reforestation at Bang Kra Chao.
Bang Kra Chao is the area known as Bangkok’s green lung because it is the only landscape in Bangkok that has more than 12,000 Rai of green spaces including trees, garden, and mangrove forest. It is also regarded as one of the best air quality places in Thailand. Twin Chemicals’ staff planted young plants aiming to increase the green areas as well as oxygen and ozone levels in Thailand. We learned about Sufficiency Economy from the locals including how to plant medical cannabis, vegetables, and produce natural fertilizers. It is a useful activity that we can truly apply to our daily lives.
At the end of the day trip, we donated some food and necessities for in-need local people whose lives got affected by Covid-19. We also had a chance to ride bicycles around the Si Nakhon Khuean Khan Park for our good health. It was such an incredible and fulfilling experience for all employees.
